Vora IP RSC Ltd Enters into Memorandum of Understanding for the Acquisition of Charter Pacific’s Foundational Patent Portfolio

Abu Dhabi, 8 September 2025

Vora IP RSC Ltd (“Vora IP”), a sovereign-backed entity based in Abu Dhabi, today confirms that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Charter Pacific Corporation Limited (CPC) to explore the acquisition of CPC’s portfolio of strategic patents.

Subject to satisfactory due diligence and the completion of definitive agreements, the transaction will enable Vora IP to acquire:

  • CPC Patent Technologies Pty Ltd (the registered owner of the ‘Remote Entry System’ biometric patents); and,

  • CPC Patents Payment Platforms Pty Ltd (the registered owner of the ‘Transmitter for Transmitting a Secure Access Signal’ - Tap & Pay patents).

The CPC patents represent foundational technology used in everyday biometric authentication and contactless payments, capabilities that have become integral to secure digital commerce and personal identification worldwide.
